  In Quest of Support

  Many children are dropped out of school because of untimely death of their father and due to their poor economic condition. As a result, they have been deprived from 'Access to Education' though being one of their fundamental rights and the basis for leading an independent life. With this necessity to support those children, WHR established a program component - Opportunity Fund. It aims at empowering the single women and their children, who are at risk of poverty, discrimination and violence by providing scholarships for their education through formal and non formal channels.

  Every year, WHR has been providing scholarship support to 200 children of single women through the Opportunity Fund and has provided the support to more than thousand children.

  Any interested individual can support a child by donating Rs. 3000 per year. Your contribution will help to make a great difference in one's life and above all, the child can go to a school.

  In this regard, we would like to humbly request if you can contribute for the Opportunity Fund to enlighten the future of the children of the single women. We really appreciate if you can contribute.
