  Global Fellows Meeting at Synergos

  Founder President of WHR, Lily Thapa received the opportunity to participate in Global Fellows Meeting at Synergos, a philanthropic organization which aims to bring people around the world to work together for a better society.

  Organized by Synergos, the meeting was held at Synergos Head Quarter, New York from 2nd to 10th April, 2011. In the meeting were the civil society organizations from nine countries including Global Philanthropic Society and Rockfeller Foundation with altogether 11 participants. 
   
  Participating in the consulting session, Ms. Thapa shared the issues and best practices of WHR. The meeting proved to be fruitful in building network within other countries as well as highlighting the issues of widows to the Global Philanthropic circle.
