  Sensitization Program for Entrepreneurs

  With the support of European Union, WHR organized a sensitization program for entrepreneurs with the participation of 18 women entrepreneurs from various entrepreneurs group on 26th June, 2011 at the Chhahari Training Hall, Kathmandu. The program highlighted the plights of single women, work of WHR for the single women and about the Single Women Entrepreneurs' Group established by WHR specifically for making the single women economically independent.

  Chhahari Management Coordinator, Valen Bisht, highlighted on the objectives of the program and focussed on building the strong network and partnership between the participating organization and Single Women Entrepreneurs' Group so that a collaborative approach for promoting single women's entrepreneur skill can be adopted in future. 
   
  It was then followed with presentation by President of WHR, Chandrika Bhattarai, which provided information about the work of WHR. 
   
  Open discussion was then held to collect the views and opinions from the participants regarding the networking approach and further enhancing the economic condition of the single women. Most of the participants committed and assured to work together with WHR in coming days.
  The program succeeded in sensitizing the entrepreneurs from various fields and building networking with potential partner organizations in playing catalyst role for entrepreneurship development of the single women.
