Dream come true
Radhika Khanal, resident of Ilam district, is a 29 years old single woman. Married at an early age of 19, Radhika was widowed at the age of 27 and has two sons and a daughter who are studying. She is lucky to have been supported by her in-laws. She is staying with her mother-in-law and brother-in-law. She shares that she had interest in sewing from the very beginning of her life and is very happy and thankful to WHR for providing an opportunity of tailoring training through Chhahari Services which was supported by WOMANKIND Worldwide, an UK based organization.
Radhika is glad to see herself using a sewing machine. She is determined that she will further take advance courses in sewing, do tailoring at her home place and also wish to buy her own sewing machine.
She also wishes to pursue education. Because of her financial condition, she has not been able to do so and is hopeful that if she will open her own tailoring shop in near future, she can support for her and children’s education.
