Struggle to survive
Leela Bhujel, a young single woman and a mother of two daughters has been living a devastating life after the death of her husband. Her husband died at the age of 35 after suffering from jaundice. They were living in a small rented room with four members. After her husband’s death she had no other option than to beg for survival. She was blessed when she came across a social worker who assured to help her two daughters for education. Since then, her daughters are studying in Orchid Garden Nepal. She also started working in other houses as house maid to make a living. But still she could not fulfil even the basic needs of her daughters. The same social worker introduced her to WHR. After finding out about her problems and background, WHR offered her a job at Chhahari Services. She has been working and also been provided counselling as well. However she is still facing problems in paying her house rent and unfortunately not being able to afford for the rent.
