Women for Human Rights, single women group (WHR) has an ever expanding network. Through the global networking model well adopted by few major countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka ) in South Asia, today, WHR has been successful in advocating for mainstreaming the rights and empowerment of single women (widows) in collaboration with different local organisations of respective countries.

In order to address the issues of the rights of the single women (widows) at a global level, WHR has also been taking initiative of establishing WHR International Chapter in different countries.

WHR International - Australia Chapter Women for Human Rights, single women group (WHR) International- Australia Chapter has been registered in 17 April, 2009. WHR International - Australia Chapter is an additional initial step of WHR towards setting up the platform for the resource management, social empowerment of single women (widows) and addressing the issues of rights of single women (widows) at a global level.
