INSPIRATIONAL AADHAR WOMEN STORIES
1. Bishnu Maya Pandey (Chitwan )
Loan taken on- 5/10/2060 – 4/10/2062
Loan amount of Rs. Nine thousand only (Rs. 9, 000/-)

Bishnu Maya Pandey president of Chitwan single women group, a daughter of a Brahmin family became single (widowed) at an early age. Her in-laws and relatives verbally abused and tortured her. Because of this she left her home and went to stay at her parental home. She couldn’t interact with other people. Once she came to know about WHR, Single Women Group and participated in the 1st National workshop. Since then she opened a single women group in Chitwan. She is an active member and the President of Chitwan single women group. She became the breadwinner of her family and took loan from Aadhar and opened a cold store with butcher shop. She was the first Brahmin single women who had opened a butcher shop in a district. Though she had opened a store, no one came to buy in her store, thinking that it will be ominous to buy meat from a widow's store. Knowing this she kept her brother in the counter and she used to cut meat from inside. This way she ran her store and went on profit. Through that profit she opened the bicycle repairing shop and once again became the first single women to open the bicycle repairing shop in the districts. Now she is in profit and has returned all her interest and debt in time.
2. Ram Devi KAVRE (District)

Ram Devi Tamang who has taken loan from WHR for her tailoring shop and investing Rs 8000 to enlarge her business and now she been running her business at shyampati. She again requested loan from the Aadhar to expand her tailoring shop. So, she had requested loan of Rs 15000 and invested it in her tailoring shop. Now she is earning profit through her business.
Member of single women (widows) group Kavre, Masini Bika have started pig farming business by investing Rs. 3,000/- . Through that amount she is rearing two pigs. She is doing a pig business, like she has sold two pigs in Rs. 15,000/- and earning profits. Now she is being able to give education to her daughter and her livelihood is running successfully through this business.

3. SAPTARI (District) – Saptari single women (widows) had took Rs. 30, 000/- loan in two installment
Under the ownership of Bimala Parajuli chairperson of Saptari single women group has issued loan of Rs. 15,000 and the name list of those loaner are listed below.
1. Rukmani Chaudhary: Through the loan issued by this committee different business have been started, such as selling and buying of paddy and separation of land owner.
2. Laaddowati Devi: Through the loan, loan takers have earned maximum earning by cultivating and selling vegetables.
3. Rickshaw

Under the ownership of the chairperson of saptari Ms. Bimala Parajuli has took loan from Aadhar to given loan for rickshaw of Rs. 10,000 (Ten thousand) to a single woman (widow)'s son of Saptari district, Kanchanpur V.D.C. According to the decision of whole member of saptari single women group, this rickshaw have been permitted to drive by Prameshori's son of Kanchanpur ward no.8
4. Group loan ( Jhapa )
Loan taken on – 30/7/2060
Loan amount of Rs. Twenty thousand only (Rs. 20, 000/-)

Kalpana Chapagai president of Jhapa district and her colleague of single women group took loan to open a spices grinding mill. They were the first single women to open a grinding mill. They are returning their interest on time and renewing their loan.
