Human Resource Development Committee:

The WHR Human Resource Development (HRD) committee makes training manuals and organizes trainings and workshops in district and central level.

HRD publications:

Along with the other publications of WHR the HRD department also produces the newsletter in English and “Astitwa” in Nepali. It also produces the various training manuals used in the trainings of single women (widows) and their children by WHR. The manuals are used for trainings such as capacity building, leadership, social mobilizers, legal counselors, youth trainings e.t.c.

The following are a list of the training manuals made by WHR HRD:

Single women (widows) Empowerment Book:

This book is utilized for the capacity building trainings of single women (widows). Included in this manual is the rights of single women (widows).

Single women (widows) Legal Book:

This book is used for legal trainings and for legal awareness of single women (widows).

Prevention against Human Trafficking:

Highlights the vulnerability of single women (widows) and their dependents towards trafficking, and describes measures of protection against and prevention of trafficking.

Sachetana Youth Mobilization

This manual is used for training of youth on single women (widows) issues, as well as awareness of youth on social issues like health, trafficking, child labor e.t.c

Women in Peace Building

This book is the latest release of WHR and will be used to aware and train single women (widows) from district level to national level on International Human rights instruments, Constituent Assembly, Social Inclusion and the conflict transformation process.
