Supreme Court Removes Age Threshold for Single Women Allowance

On March 11, 2010 the Nepal Supreme Court has ordered the government to provide monthly social security payments to all single women (widows) regardless of age.  WHR has successfully pressured the government to change their policy on single womens economic rights.
